I suggest you go back and read the entry for Hoi An, because I did manage to add some photos to that post and here is a description of yesterday in Na Trang.
Yesterday on our way to the airport from Hoi An we made an impromptu stop to see these people brooms my hand. The women are neighbors and work part time, making three hundred brooms a day. Out guide has been very good at stopping for what he calls "learning and discovery" when he sees something of interest.
The flight to Na Trang was only an hour. From the airport we went directly to a rural village that gets financial support from OAT, the company we are traveling with. The chieftain of the village invoked us into his home and then he and his wife served us all lunch, after which we had an opportunity to interview the couple via our guide. This man served in the south Vietnam army and has spent a year in a reeducation camp after the war. He had served as the chieftain of this village foe twelve years. With the support of OAT five bamboo homes in the village had been replaced by brick homes. We observed villagers making bamboo baskets, and others making bamboo chop sticks, and of course we had an opportunity to make purchases. I bought some extra long chopsticks for cooking.
The city is very proud of their "Dragon Bridge" which we crossed as we entered this modern city on our way to the hotel.
